50 shades of grey inspired manicures by the SB Team

I’m sure you’ve all heard about the best-seller book 50 shades of grey being adapted into a film. Well, either you read the book or not, it has a huge following and its movie premiere is tomorrow on the 11^th (for some countries, or in the following days for some others). Of course, we couldn’t leave this opportunity behind, and not prepare a post, inspired by the upcoming movie. 4 of the Stylishly Beautiful girls, created manicures based on grey, and a few other colors, inspired by the O.P.I. “50 Shades of Grey” nail polish collection we wrote about a few months ago. So let’s take a look at our manicures, one by one.

Denise chose a light grey nail polish by Mavala, which is simple and elegant.

Kleoniki chose a dark-grey version, while painting the ring fingers red, and added some same-hue grey polka-dots. The dark grey makes it serious, yet the polka dots and red add a playful note to the manicure.

Anatoli, did a matte light-grey manicure, with a white outline, and added red hearts on her thumb and ring fingers which were painted white and silver respectively. Definitely a really impressive manicure, which “covered” both the “50 shades of grey premiere” and the Valentine’s Day manicure of the day.

I (Markella) kept the same color motive with the girls, and created a French-style manicure with a light grey base and silver tips, while differentiated the ring fingers, by painting a silver base color, and adding red tips instead. My take was (in my opinion), classic and chic, while being playful with the colors of the collection it was inspired by. I think it’s a really easy manicure, that every novice like me can do.
