Drew Barrymore for Crocs collectionFamous actress Drew Barrymore collaborated with Crocs to bring out a new colorful collection for women and kids. The new collection is designed by her, in collaboration with Croc’s shoes designers and it is called “Crocs Color-Block collection”. It features duo-chromatic styles, instead of the usual monochromatic ones that Crocs is used to. Drew added her personal touch to the collection, with heart and daisy embellishments. The line includes six new styles in total, in both clogs and slides. Their prices range between $30 and $50, and they are perfect for matching outfits with your kids. We definitely like the “love” slides in white and yellow, that Drew herself wears in the first photo. You can find and shop for the whole collection on crocs.com. Are you a Crocs fan? Let us know what you think about this collaboration and the styles of the collection by leaving a comment below! 🙂

Karl Lagerfeld will design this year's Claridge's Christmas TreeFor the past 8 years, Claridge’s luxury hotel in Mayfair has been collaborating with famous designers and have entrusted them with the task of designing their Christmas tree. It was recently announced that this year’s designer will be Karl Lagerfeld. We still have no idea about what Karl’s Christmas Tree for Claridge’s will look like, but we won’t have to wait long, since the official unveiling will take place at the hotel’s lobby on the morning of November 22, which is a little more than a week from now. Lagerfeld will be the 8th in the line of creative visionaries for have been invited to put their stamp on the Christmas decorations of the famous hotel, following, Jony Ive, chief design officer at Apple, industrial designer Marc Newson, Burberry’s Christopher Bailey (photo of the tree on the right, above), and Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. They have all interpreted Christmas in their own distinctive styles in the past, and we can’t wait to see what Karl has to share with us. The German-born designer stated about his collaboration with the iconic hotel, that “Christmas trees are the strongest ‘souvenir’ of my happy childhood.” We couldn’t agree more Karl! We’ll stay tuned for the big unveiling! 🙂

Victoria has herself joined the world of athleisure with her own everyday outfits. Over the past few years though her style has evolved a lot, and we’re happy to see her land another major collaboration. It’s the 3rd collaboration she has with major names, as earlier this year, she collaborated with Estee Lauder for the 2nd time, and designed a capsule collection for Target stores.

New adidas sneakers made from ocean wasteAs part of its long-standing collaboration with environmental initiative Parley for the Oceans, Adidas has updated one of its classic shoes from the 90s and made it eco-friendly. The initiative aims to stop plastic that’s entering the ocean, and retrieves waste from beaches and coastal communities in the Maldives. The waste products are then turned into yarn and get knitted to construct the shoe’s upper.  The updated sneaker which was first designed in the 90s, now features a two-tone upper, which has been knitted from yarns made out of up-cycled plastic, creating a wave-patterned stitching and it’s available in two color combinations: dark navy & blue, and white & turquoise. Its molded heel counter is made from recycled plastic, while the outsole is made from recycled rubber. The Parley EQT is the latest in a series of products to come out of the longstanding collaboration between Adidas and Parley for the Oceans. The first Parley Ocean Plastic trainers were presented during an event at the United Nations headquarters in New York in July 2015, when the shoe was still a prototype. The Parley EQT Support Adv sneaker costs $160 and it is available online, here.
