Last day of Milan Fashion Week with not very impressive looks, but they were few which stood out. The storage space in the heels of Dolce & Gabbana and their lace dresses received the best reviews. Also, the audience loved Marni‘s judo belts and the simple and elegant looks of Trussardi. I hope that in the next MFW the team of Stylishly Beautiful will be there with live reports and reviews. Now let’s see what happened the last day of the shows…
Tuesday the 16th was the last day of the London Fashion Week, and we’re moving on to Milan Fashion Week starting our reports from tomorrow on. There weren’t many shows on the last day, but there were many interesting collections to watch. I really enjoyed the straight lines and colorful designs of Isa Arfen, the honey-bee inspired collection of H by Hakaan Yildirim, the pastel colors and girly lines of Ryan Lo, and of course the fun art on Anya Hindmarch’s bags, whose show featured the new trend of holding more than one bags at a time. Of course there were some lines that were definitely not my taste, such as Fashion East, Marques’ Almeida and Meadham Kirchhoff. But let’s see them all so you can find your favorites.
We’re somewhere in the middle of the NYFW and we still have so many designer houses to see. From day 5 my favorite designers are Diane Von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera and Lela Rose. I simply loved most of their designs. On the other side, always in my opinion, we have The Row and Tommy Hilfiger. The awkward posing award goes to the models of Co and Rosetta Getty (what’s up with that? I wonder!). Let us know which your favorite designers of Day 5 were simply by leaving a comment below.
