Barbie has collaborated with another fashion brand, and released a Gigi Hadid x Tommy Hilfiger doll. The doll was previewed at the beginning of the year at the TommyNow 2017 show, as part of the ongoing collaboration of Gigi and Tommy Hilfiger, but there wasn’t any talk about making the doll available for sale. However, the Barbie doll is now available for pre-order on Barbie.com. The doll features the hoodie and shorts Gigi was wearing on Tommy Hilfiger’s first runway show back in 2016. “The collaboration with Gigi and Barbie was an exciting new twist on our brand’s history of partnering with pop-culture icons and our ongoing ambassadorship with Gigi,” said Hilfiger in a statement. “The final look of the Tommy x Gigi Barbie doll is a celebration of a defining moment in the history of Tommy Hilfiger women’s wear.”. Tommy x Gigi Barbie will be available to shop online at both barbie.com and tommy.com, as well as at Tommy Hilfiger’s London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam and New York flagship stores.

Ladies and gentlemen you heard right. Tommy Hilfiger announced collaborative collection with Vetements! The two sides made the news official after Hilfiger posted a first look at the collaborative collection on his personal Instagram page, after Vetements teased a potential collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger after debuting its 2018 spring/summer collection last week. The collection is expected to launch sometime in fall, and will feature a unisex assortment of hoodies, tees, beanies and socks. Gigi Hadid & Tommy Hilfiger, recently announced that they’ll be collaborating for 2 more collections. So far Gigi has co-designed and fronted two runway shows (Fall 2016 in New York and Spring 2017 in Los Angeles) as the global ambassador for the brand. Tommy Hilfiger has stated for their most recent collaboration: “Gigi is a force in the fashion industry and the ultimate Tommy Girl. Her positive, down-to-earth energy and cool, effortless style continue to captivate her audiences around the world. I have loved designing the Tommy x Gigi collections with her and I look forward to continuing our partnership for another year.” The new Tommy x Gigi collection is expected to land in Fall 2017.

Mattel turned Gigi Hadid into a Barbie doll, in honor of Gigi’s second capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger. In the first pictures they released on @BarbieStyle ‘s account, the two friends go roller-skating in Venice, and take selfies in their matching Tommy Hilfiger crop tops. Gigi posted the photo on her personal Instagram account with the caption: “Can’t believe that’s me !!!!!!! ? Thank you for this honor #Mattel, @tommyhilfiger ❤ can’t wait to have #BARBIE join us at the #TOMMYxGIGI show tomorrow!”. And she did join them, as Barbie was invited by Tommy Hilfiger to watch the show of the collaboration between him and Gigi. Do you remember when Mattel created a Chiara Ferragni Barbie doll?
