MIGATO takes us in a dreamy landscape, through the new advertising campaign for the Autumn/Winter 2017-18 season. This year, their ad campaign takes us to the gardens of the Vassilissis Amalias Tower, a 19th-century fairytale tower on the outskirts of Athens. The designs of the new winter collection star in the enchanting landscape. Their main features are: velvet, satin as well as luxurious embroidery and gems, giving it its unique fantasy atmosphere.
Back in 2013, Christian Louboutin released his “Nudes Collection”, a line of pumps in 5 different shades of nude to match (almost) every skin tone. Then he added 2 more nude shades, and released the solasofia ballerina pump to his collection. This time, he went a step further, and released his first high heeled sandals in 7 nude shades, Christeriva and the Cherrysandal. Christeriva is a ballet-inspired stiletto sandal, with ribbon wraps and Cherrysandal is a chunky platform sandal with chunky heels, an ankle strap, and a nice perspex detail. You can see the style in a close-up below. The style is also available in various other colors and combinations online. We’re fans of Mr. Louboutin’s work, and we’re curious to see what else he has in mind for the future.

Slides are a trend that you either love of hate. I’m mostly on the latter side, especially when it comes to pool slides being worn as shoes. I can’t stand seeing that. But we don’t all share the same taste in fashion and style, and that’s okay. As a fashion editor I must report all trends, wether I personally like them or not. And slides is one of those. Slides come in various shapes and styles as you can see from the photo above. Pool slides are the classic plastic ones, but they also come in nice leather variations with embellishments, such as like flowers, bows, knots, pom poms which make them look cuter. They are perfect for wandering around the narrow streets of the Greek islands, and can be worn with nice flowy dresses, shorts, or culottes. Greek TV presenter, Mary Synatsaki, collaborated with the Greek footwear company, Envie Shoes, to release a new summer shoes collection for women. The collection will include 7 new styles, in various colors and prints, which are going to follow all the latest fashion trends, and are expected to be sold out really soon. The release date was just yesterday, even though it’s been announced for a short while now, and you can find it on selective stores in Greece, and online on envieshoes.gr, & Mary’s personal website, buyaboo.gr.
