L’Occitane shower gel and hand cream set review

I love L’Occitane, cause the products are so beautifully scented, great quality and also, the packaging is so vintage-like – I simply love all about the brand! This time it wasn’t different – this Shower Gel and hand cream are amazing. The set contained a scented candle and a great body scrub as well, but I will review the two mentioned products now, the Verbena Foaming Bath, with organic verbena extract and the Dry Skin Hand Cream with 20% of Shea Butter.

The shower gel: amazing scent, that really makes your shower or bath something special. The whole room will be scented and your skin too! It feels so good, with the right consistency and it lathers well. 10 points out of 10! Totally recommended! One can see how much I liked it, because the bottle is already half way used!

Now, for me, one of the stars of the set, although the whole set is brilliant. The hand cream! Last month I reviewed a hand cream here, because I was so amazed – I barely wear hand creams, I want to develop the habit, but still didn’t… so this hand cream still didn’t make me wish to wear hand creams more often, but it was quite close! The packaging is lovely, the tube is the right size for a handag, and it is seriously moisturizing and protects against heavy winters, I am sure of that. It is also good for one great thing! I normally like to wear light nail polishes, or sometimes, not at all. I am on the “not at all phase” for different reasons. But if you apply this hand cream on your nails, it looks like you had a base coat! Fabulous!

Unfortunately, there is a down point: it is very oily, in my opinion. I even had to get some kitchen paper to take the excess, so I guess applying just a little is better. But still, a great cream!
