Barbie has collaborated with another fashion brand, and released a Gigi Hadid x Tommy Hilfiger doll. The doll was previewed at the beginning of the year at the TommyNow 2017 show, as part of the ongoing collaboration of Gigi and Tommy Hilfiger, but there wasn’t any talk about making the doll available for sale. However, the Barbie doll is now available for pre-order on Barbie.com. The doll features the hoodie and shorts Gigi was wearing on Tommy Hilfiger’s first runway show back in 2016. “The collaboration with Gigi and Barbie was an exciting new twist on our brand’s history of partnering with pop-culture icons and our ongoing ambassadorship with Gigi,” said Hilfiger in a statement. “The final look of the Tommy x Gigi Barbie doll is a celebration of a defining moment in the history of Tommy Hilfiger women’s wear.”. Tommy x Gigi Barbie will be available to shop online at both barbie.com and tommy.com, as well as at Tommy Hilfiger’s London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam and New York flagship stores.
Selena Gomez teamed up with Coach to bring out a collection of bags, co-designed by Gomez and the brand’s own Stuart Vevers. The designs are all very classic, with a personal message from Selena embroidered to them in her own handwriting: “To be you is to be strong” and “Love yourself first” on the exterior base. It consists of 11 styles, along with the bag, called Selena Grace, and includes wristlets, wallets and key-chains, in classic colors renamed as Selena Black Cherry, Selena White, and Selena Red. Selena stated in the press release: “I’m very excited for everyone to finally see the design Stuart and I worked on together. I can’t wait to carry it — it’s totally versatile, perfect to wear day-to-night, and it goes with everything”. The collection will be available for pre-order on August 14th, and it will probably be available in stores from September 1st.
2017 so far has proven to be the year of the unicorn, hasn’t it? From clothes, to beauty products, everyone seems to be in a unicorn-frenzy and who can blame them; they’re so freaking cute. Earth’s Raw Beauty recently created a unicorn-themed soap (and a bar version of the “Believe in Magic” line), which is a goat milk soap scented with a blend of berries, apples, peaches and kumquat. It is a pure soap with no fillers, hardening agents and detergents and it’s made to order.
