Fashion is constantly changing with designers departing from fashion houses in order to focus on their own lines or collaborate with another fashion brand. This month, because of the fashion weeks, designers are back on the game and the fashionistas can’t wait to see their new collection presentations. So, getting confused with designer names and houses isn’t a big thing and that’s why we found this easy guide. You can see all the changes in the fashion world lately in the following diagram:

Emporio Armani show moves to Paris

Giorgio Armani decided to relocate his show for the Spring/Summer 2017 Emporio Armani collection to Paris, rather than Milan like he did in the past. He stated on WWD that “the restyling of the brand’s boutique and its café on Boulevard Saint-Germain-des-Prés provided ‘the opportunity to rethink the location and timing of the show'”. The show for his Giorgio Armani brand will remain on the Milan Fashion Week.

In the London Collections Menswear week, the fashion crowd found out the first menswear trends for Spring 2016. Topman Design, opened the fashion week with a collection inspired by the punk-rock movement of 70’s, followed by top British designers such as Christopher Shannon and Astrid Andersen who made their overthrow in menswear with their distinctive designs. Stuart Vevers for Coach did a considerable effort where intense colorful prints attracted the attention of many shoppers. A futuristic collection by J.W. Anderson came up next, in more abstract lines which the designers give a try for the first time in menswear. The tattoos also appeared on the catwalk as Alexander McQueen house’s jackets, shirts and trousers were full of tattoos and navy details. The fashion week closed with Cristopher Bailey’s show for Burberry, with a special collection full of lace! The first trends that were spotted at the shows were the multi-variety prints, the navy, gray and black colors and the futuristic designs. Below, you can see some of the best looks of LCM:

Couture week for spring 2015 has come to an end, and we’re here to show you some of the best couture pieces from the collections. Some collections were futuristic, like the ones by Atelier Versace, some really theatrical, and in some cases over-the-top, like Valentino, Viktor & Rolf and Maison Martin Margiela, and some a bit disappointing like big house names such as Christian Dior and Chanel. My personal favorite ones were the absolute dreamy creations by Elie Saab, and Zuhair Murad. The creations of the latter surprised me, for being even dreamier than the ones from Elie Saab, who has been known for creating fairytale-like dresses over the years. Here are some of my picks, from all the collections. You can click on the links under the photos to be directed to the collections’ pages.

16ç Athens Xclusive Designers Week - day 1 (ÄÔ)The 16th Athens Xclusive Designers Week by Coca-Cola light was held on the 24th-27th of October at the Conference Centre of Ethniki. The designers Vasilis Zoulias, Rita Pateroni, Kathy Heyndels, Lila Nova and Loukia Kyriakou for Underground and Apostolos Mitropoulos for Underground presented their new collections on the first day of the AXDW. The second day we saw the presentations of the collections of Join Clothes, Stylianos, Gaffer & Fluf, Somf and Athina Korda. The third day was dedicated to new talents, where 17 designers presented their creations and 3 of them received awards for their collections. AXDW was completed with an impressive finale, with the presentation of designers’, Notis Panayiotou, Spiros Stefanoudakis, Celebrity Skin, Valtadoros and Panos Apergis, collections for Spring/Summer 2015.

Our favorite was Vasilis Zoulias whose creations were like an elegant journey through time. Bold colors, large prints, psychedelic patterns and stripes in subversive combinations, were the key elements of his collection (first photo). Let’s see, the Spring Summer 2015 collections of the designers for the 16th Athens Xclusive Designers Week.
