June is coming to an end and I think that a shopping guide about swimsuits is long due. Let’s see which swimsuit styles are trending this year and which are the ladies’ favorites! I personally prefer bikinis to one-piece swimsuits, but that’s a personal preference. One-piece swimsuits are still going strong, stronger than ever actually, and you will find many available options to choose from. Today I picked some of the best ones I found online, according to my personal taste obviously, to give you some inspiration on what you can buy this year (if you haven’t already) or share where you can shop what you had in your mind. Enjoy, and happy shopping (you’ll find all the links to them, below)!
Slides are a trend that you either love of hate. I’m mostly on the latter side, especially when it comes to pool slides being worn as shoes. I can’t stand seeing that. But we don’t all share the same taste in fashion and style, and that’s okay. As a fashion editor I must report all trends, wether I personally like them or not. And slides is one of those. Slides come in various shapes and styles as you can see from the photo above. Pool slides are the classic plastic ones, but they also come in nice leather variations with embellishments, such as like flowers, bows, knots, pom poms which make them look cuter. They are perfect for wandering around the narrow streets of the Greek islands, and can be worn with nice flowy dresses, shorts, or culottes. Combine them with small bags, or cross body ones for an even prettier look.
Today’s look might be monochrome, and dedicated to a favorite pastel color, baby blue, but it also includes some of the season’s biggest trends: Ruffled tops, lace up sandals, and tassel earrings. I love a monochrome look; I think it looks clean and chic. But it’s summer. Don’t limit yourself to total white or total black outfits only! Play with colors, especially pastel ones and find the perfect one for you. Combine your ruffled one-sleeve top with a high-waisted super skinny cropped pair of jeans, and wear an impressive tassel earring on one of your ears (on the opposite side of the sleeve) to create a nice balance. Top off your look with block-high-heeled lace-up sandals, and a bag in a matching color or a clutch and go out for drinks with your friends to enjoy the summer nights.
Basket bags are one of the season’s biggest trends. We’ve already seen them on catwalks, fashion weeks, and on the hands of celebrities, so it’s definitely something that you’re gonna see a lot during this summer. Apart from the classic big ones, that you can take with you to the beach as well, there are those smaller ones that are perfect for everyday looks, and can be worn in the city too. Some are even combined with another big trend, which are pom poms in various bold colors. Logos and summer prints, or patches like flamingos and pineapples are also big, so don’t be scared to try some of these combinations too. We selected some of our favorites we found online, to help you with your choice. Make sure to click the links below, if you want to shop one of these.

This look of the day, is dedicated not only to one season trend, but to two: the color yellow and the lemon print. They are both huge summer trends, and I actually love them so I wanted to create a look around them. I built the whole outfit around this lemon printed swimsuit which could also be worn as a bodysuit. Since it’s a very bold piece, I chose to pair it with simple oversized white shorts, a white cross body bag, gold accessories, and matching yellow heeled sandals. The combination is very summery, and it’s my recommendation for not only the week, but the whole summer season. You can trade the heels for a pair of flat sandals, and you can party at beach bars or summer clubs all night long, or even travel around the island you’ll be visiting, looking fresh and stylish. You should try it!
Mom jeans are definitely the new big thing in fashion. This amazing in my opinion fashion trend is back here, to stay for good. Mom jeans is the easiest and most effective way to spice up any outfit! You can pair them with converse, flats, sandals, or high heels and each time you will get a different and outstanding outfit. Lets take a look at some inspiration on how to style this beautiful piece!
I’m sure that by now you have already noticed that bell sleeves are having a comeback. I was reluctant to give in to this trend again at first, but it didn’t take me long to surrender. If you combine this trend with the whole blush/dusty/powder pink frenzy that surrounds us lately then you can say that I’ve given in completely. Combine your bell sleeved top/sweater/blouse with a pair of skinny jeans, or a pencil skirt, something fitted in general and then you will surely look very stylish. Since bell sleeves are making a statement by themselves, try to keep the rest of the outfit as minimal as possible. You can pair your tops and dresses with sneakers for stylish casual looks, or with a pair of killer heels for a night out. Are your ready to give in to this trend yet? Here are some items that may help your decision!
One of the biggest fashion trends of fall/winter 2016/2017 is definitely fishnet tights. We’ve already started seeing them everywhere, in blogs and streets worldwide, so we think it’s time to discuss about this trend on Stylishly Beautiful. Fishnets are not a new trend. They’re actually having a comeback from the early 00’s, but many ladies are afraid to follow that trend, because they don’t know how to style fishnet tights without looking trashy or vulgar. You don’t have to worry anymore though, because we’re here to give you our advice. The easiest way to wear your fishnets is under a pair of ripped jeans. This way, the effect is really subtle, but it’s there, and that’s good enough. Our second favorite way to wear fishnets is with long sweaters or slitted sweater dresses and chunky booties or biker boots. You can combine them with a biker jacket as well, for a rock/grunge touch. The 3rd way is of course with skirts: mini skirts (always with low boots for an everyday look, or if you don’t want to look too sexy), or pencil midi skirts, for a more sophisticated look. Last but not least, if you want a subtler effect, you can wear fishnet socks with your booties, pumps or even sandals, to make the outfit more interesting and on trend! 😉
