H&M Conscious Exclusive 2016 Collection

The 2016 Conscious Exclusive Collection effortlessly merges a sense of history with modernity. Launched to coincide with the opening of the exhibition Fashion Forward – 300 years of Fashion at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, to which it pays homage, the collection conveys an idea of painterly and sophisticated elegance. The H&M design team has delved into the museum’s collections of archival fashions in order to pick up key pieces from the last three centuries of haute couture. The result is a contemporary and artistic collection that is soulful, progressive, conscious and truly unique. The collection will be available in approximately 180 stores worldwide and online from April 7.

Tezenis Spring 2016 d

Tezenis’ spring 2016 consists of 4 new lines: Denim Safari, Garçonne, Playful and Casual Couture, each one with its own style. Denim Safari includes simple & casual denim looks, from dungarees to men’s shirts, and animal prints softened with black & white geometries. The Garçonne line takes inspiration from the 20s and men’s wardrobes and exudes unexpected sensuality, with geometrical prints, contrasting black & white on light, sheer fabrics, pleated trousers with braces, and belts combined with lose-fitting knitwear. The shirt, revisited in cotton and denim, is the protagonist of this sexy, unexpected look. The Playful line is filled with pink and pastel tones, with triangle bras covered with daisies or cupcakes, and briefs with petals, which represent an innocent femininity. Finally, Casual Couture’s basic colors are black & white, pastel pink and japan blue, and it includes polka dots, minimal lettering and two-colour inserts which make the casual-chic trousers a perfect match for a blazer and shirt. We also see 3D fabrics, extensive use of light scuba, terry cloth and mesh inserts.

H&M collaborates with the Coachella Festival for 2016

H&M teams up once again with the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, creating a co-branded collection for girls and guys under the claim #HMLovesCoachella. The H&M Loves Coachella collection features a line-up of iconic pieces and freewheeling playfulness. The overall look is about personal style, mixing, not matching, and conveying a message of ease and freedom. For girls, the collection includes folksy blouses, beaded and fringed tops, allover print jumpsuits, denim cut-offs, and accessory essentials including floppy hats, sunglasses, and flat boots. Hemlines are short and embellishments provide a crafty tingle. For boys, it is all about printed T-shirts and mismatched shirts, bermudas, and denim shorts. The collection will launch globally in-stores and online at hm.com on March 31st.

Born in Turin in 1984, Eleonora Carisi immediately started expressing a developed sense of fashion. After graduating Marketing and Communication school at the European Institute of Design in Turin in 2006, she decided to open “You you Store”, a small clothing boutique in the center of Turin, in the same year. In 2009 she launched her clothing label and in 2010, with the fashion blog phenomenon spreading across the internet, she decided to roll out her online platform, which she named “Jou Jou Villeroy”. Through her blog, she started sharing her passion for fashion, photography and lifestyle with her followers, making her blog one of Italy’s “50 most popular blogs” and getting into the world of blogging and social media such as Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. In 2011 she drew up a collaboration with the online version of the Italian magazine Grazia, on which she has been writing about trends, becoming so, a “Grazia It-Girl”. To this day, Eleonora counts a lot of collaborations with international luxury brands, such as Michael Kors, Moschino, Chanel, Tod’s, Gucci, Ferragamo, Redken. Explore her style below:

The models are captured by the lens of Harley Weir while posing in a green meadow in the outskirts of Paris. The outdoor areas where the photoshooting of the campaign took place symbolize the collection’s wearability. Longchamp Spring 2016 campaignThe stunning Alexa Chung appears for a fifth time as the face of the famous Parisian handbag label, Longchamp. In the spring/summer 2016 campaign, she is posing for the well-know Peter Lindbergh in the magnificent Paris. In the campaign’s video, we see her walking down the streets carefree. She is wearing three different outfits that were created with the help of Alexis Roche. I personally love the one with the beige trench coat and the amazing Penelope bag as it’s so feminine and classy. For more stylish moments, watch the campaign’s visual edition below.
