Vans x Van Gogh Museum 4A new Vans collection in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum, is expected to drop soon, on August 3. The Van Gogh Museum, has teamed up with the skate brand Vans for a historic release. Four of Van Gogh’s paintings have been used for this collaboration, in an exclusive collection that takes Van Gogh’s art, “off the wall”. The selected paintings are: Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, Skull, Almond Blossom and his self-portrait, which were printed over t-shirts, bomber jackets, hoodies, and hats. Sunflower has been used on the Authentic style, and also on a t-shirt, and a hoodie, while Almond Blossom was digitally printed on a bomber, a hat and a backpack. His self-portrait was also printed over the Authentic shoe style, and also on a t-shirt. Some of his artwork was printed on the Old Skool shoe style, such as the Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman, while excerpts from a letter that Van Gogh himself wrote, were printed onto the Classic Slip-on style. Some of the profits of the Van Gogh Museum x Vans collection will go toward the preservation of the artist’s collection. If you like to make any of these pieces yours, make sure to check out www.vans.com regularly after August 3.
