By now, we’re used to Calvin Klein picking huge names, such as Solange Knowles and The Kardashian-Jenner family, for their campaigns. Now they’re back with a new Our Family Campaign, starring Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael Jackson, “Stranger Things” teenage star Millie Bobby Brown, and model Lulu Tenney. These three are the new faces of the campaign, photographed by Willy Vanderperre, showcasing pieces both from the Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Jeans lines, in blue, red and white. It’s the first time that we see Paris Jackson starring in a fashion campaign, and the second time Millie is working with the brand, since she was announced as the face of Calvin Klein, last February. The girls all worked with Raf Simons (the creative director of Calvin Klein), a few months back, on the music video for the song “I Dare You” by The xx. The campaign was shot in the same barn we saw on the previous #MyCalvins campaigns. There’s also a short video released for the campaign, which you can watch below.

Solange Knowles stars in the new Calvin Klein campaign, after she was asked by the CK team. Calvin Klein managed to do the impossible and top their previous ad campaigns, by not only asking Solange to front the campaign, but also by allowing her to be the casting director. So Solange decided to bring her whole “family” to participate to the campaign and join her on the latest #MyCalvins campaign concept. Who else participates in the campaign? Artists like Kelela, Dev Hynes, Caroline Polachek of Chairlift and Adam Bainbridge of Kindness. The ad campaign was shot in some kind of a barn, by Willy Vanderperre, and the artists were showcased as a “chosen musical family”. It features pieces from the CK Jeans collection, as well as from the brand’s famous underwear line. “The evolved #MYCALVINS concept has family at its center, a display of unity between strong individuals, further emphasized by the symbolism of the traditional American quilt,” the press release reads. You can already shop the campaign, and there will be new product launches from Holiday 2017 till Spring 2018 according to the brand. So stay tuned!
If you love the classic Calvin Klein underwear, with the athletic style, and the elastic bands with the brand’s logo on them, you’re gonna love their new update. We all know that velvet is a huge fall/winter 2017 trend, that is still going strong from last year, and it seems that the brand took notes. The classic set, got a velvet update, so you can now find the triangle bralette of the brand with its matching undies in crushed velvet. And it looks SO good! The set is only available in black and pale pink, which looks more like a white, finished with Calvin Klein’s logo on the white bands. Raf Simons is officially the new creative director of the house of Calvin Klein, following an official announcement. The designer will take on the women’s and men’s collections of the brand from now on and also the Calvin Klein Platinum series, Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Home, incorporating his fresh ideas and vision for the upcoming season.
Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli depart from Calvin Klein, as announced. Both designers leave because the label plans to unify their menswear and womenswear collections and choose one person for the place of the creative director. The famous, fashion house after its changes and campaigns tries to send out a single message to the fans through the latest changes. Costa is the womenswear creative director since 2003 while Zuccheli holds the helms of menswear collections since 2014, leading the brand to a new era.

Calvin Klein launches a new perfume this month, the CK2. It’s a unisex one, in other words it can be used from both you and your boyfriend. Its creators, Pascal Gaurin and Ann Gottlieb are very proud of that outcome. They characterize it as a floral, fresh but still intense aroma because of its unusual combination of notes. The CK2 has woody base of vetiver, sandalwood and incense and all of them are combined with wasabi, mandarin and violet leaf. I think having the same beautiful scent with your man is really lovely so I’m expecting this perfume to be very popular. Just keep in your mind that even thought the official worldwide release is in February 2016, it will be launched in December 2015 only in select places!!
