Shoes: Pleasure & Pain exhibition
What for a great exhibition, that any woman would love to attend (or at least 99%)! Five years in the making, Victoria & Albert Museum will launch Shoes: Pleasure & Pain, with more than 250 pairs! They have both historic and contemporary styles from the whole world to be seen and admired!
The exhibition’s curator Helen Persson says that she is obsessed with shoes herself and wanted to go “into why we are who we are in shoes”. The exhibition shows iconic pairs, such as one worn by Marilyn Monroe, and has something to connect with everybody’s memories and tastes!
From Sex and The City to inspiration on how to store shoes, if you are in London you can see the beautiful and also important fashion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum! The exhibition, sponsored by shoe brand Clarks. opens from June 13, 2015 to January 31, 2016.
