It is the first time that Christian Louboutin is bringing out a baby shoe collection and it’s gonna be an exclusive and limited-edition collaboration between him and the brand, so we don’t know whether he’s thinking about creating a permanent baby shoe line with his name. The collection was unveiled on September 15, but it’s set to launch on November 16.

Christian Louboutin releases high heeled sandals in seven shades of 'nude'Back in 2013, Christian Louboutin released his “Nudes Collection”, a line of pumps in 5 different shades of nude to match (almost) every skin tone. Then he added 2 more nude shades, and released the solasofia ballerina pump to his collection. This time, he went a step further, and released his first high heeled sandals in 7 nude shades, Christeriva and the Cherrysandal. Christeriva is a ballet-inspired stiletto sandal, with ribbon wraps and Cherrysandal is a chunky platform sandal with chunky heels, an ankle strap, and a nice perspex detail. You can see the style in a close-up below. The style is also available in various other colors and combinations online. We’re fans of Mr. Louboutin’s work, and we’re curious to see what else he has in mind for the future.

Christian Louboutin launches his first fragrances

We all got to know Christian Louboutin through the gorgeous pairs of shoes with the signature red soles he designs. But for Mr. Louboutin, fashion wasn’t enough, so he expanded his business to the beauty industry as well. First came the nail polishes, then the lipsticks, and now it’s time for him to introduce us to his new fragrances. Bikini Questa Sera has a jasmine and tuberose scent; Tornade Blonde is a mix of red rose, cassis, and red violet; and last but not least, Trouble in Heaven, is a sultry blend of patchouli, tonka and amber. The glass bottles were designed by the architect Thomas Heatherwick (known for the creation of the Olympic torch in London, among others). The fragrances retail for $275 and are now available on christianlouboutin.com.

Christian Louboutin 1st lipstick collection featured- StylishlyBeautiful.comAfter shoes, bags, and then nail polishes, it’s time for the famous designer to venture into lipsticks too. He calls them “objets d’art,” and they’re inspired by the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. His first collection consists of 38 shades of lipsticks in “Silky Satin, Velvet Matte and Sheer Voile” textures, inspired by the designer’s iconic shoes and bags. The lipsticks come in amazing metallic bullet-like containers along with ribbons, to be worn as necklaces. With 90$ (or 60£ in UK), they’re definitely not cheap, but they’re a piece of art, and they bear the signature of the most coveted designer label. Are you curious to try them out? I know we are! They are available in stores from September 2015.

louboutin022We have some exciting news for the lovers of Christian Louboutin: The designer enters the beauty arena with his first nail polish line. It’s been many years since the designer first painted the sole of a high heeled pair of shoes with red nail polish, when he got the idea that later gave his shoes the characteristic they’ve been mostly known for, but the move sounds fitting. According to Christian Louboutin: “The red sole was born from red nail polish. I am giving back to nails what the shoe took from the nails many years ago”.
