New “The Winter Archive by Alexa Chung” collection at Marks & Spencer
After the success of the first series “Archive by Alexa”, the new collection is another collaboration between Marks & Spencer and the modern icon of British style, Alexa Chung. «The Winter Collection by Alexa Chung” is now available at Marks & Spencer. The winter collection, which comes to complete the “Archive by Alexa” series, is a modern approach to earlier collections of M&S and combines its rich heritage with contemporary style. Utilizing Marks & Spencer’s extensive archive in Leeds, Alexa, in cooperation with the design team of M&S continues the re-definitional journey through a clear winter style. The supportive campaign, was photographed yet again by Tom Craig while Alexa herself preserved the creative editing, styling and direction.
The collection consists of 27 items chosen and edited personally by Alexa in collaboration with the design team of M&S. The designs from the Archives get revived using the unique stylistic approach of Alexa. The items of the winter collection “exude” an evening mood with a mix of bold designs, luxurious fabrics, metallic colors and velvety textures. The pieces of the collection have taken their names from the streets of Leeds, where the first Marks & Spencer store opened in 1884.
