Meet the youtuber | Dressing Room
I first met Fotini through her Υoutube channel, Dressing Room. Her expression, pleasant character and videos’ themes made a great first impression. When I met her in person, I was sure that she is a friendly, smart and nice girl. Her outfits usually have to do with famous trends but she always presents them adjusted to her own style. Aimee Song is the girl behind the amazing Song of Style blog. She started it in 2008 while studying Interior Architecture. She was always interested in both interior design and fashion but in the beginning she intended to start a decor blog but after her outfit posts got a good response, she put a new column with her personal style into place. Moreover, she managed to combine these two aspects of her life by designing her own jewelry line in collaboration with Bloomingdale’s. She also owns a Youtube channel in which you will find not only fashion related videos, but also some about design inspiration and DIY. Her style is easy going and colorful, a mix and match of styles. She has her way of following a trend by adding girly or sporty details to her looks. The 21-year-old blogger was traveling all over the world with her family of artists so she didn’t have the chance to stay in one place for a long time… After following law-school, she changed her mind and applied for Central Saint Martins based in London so as to work in the area of her interests. After she started The Atelier by herself, she found love in the eyes of Giotto Calendoli and her blog was renewed with men’s and women’s outfits. Now they’re both writing and presenting different outfits. I loved their aesthetics from the first visit and of course I’m following them! So, if you want to be informed about the latest fashion trends and have some eye-candy (Giotto is an Italian boy!) you have to visit it!!

She has a very serene voice that makes you like her even more, and makes you feel like she’s your best friend. Some of her videos have millions of views on Youtube, with 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf in 4.5 Minutes!, being her most popular, and Be Your Shoeself being my personal favorite (I couldn’t imagine that a pair of shoes could make me feel so emotional).

Alina Filipescu is a Romanian girl from Bucharest, and is the owner of the personal style blog My Silk Fairytale. She started her blog in the summer of 2011, and even though her style has evolved a lot, even back then you could tell she’s a stylish and elegant girl. She has studied Public Relations and Communication, she’s been working as a manager at her mother’s Beauty Salon for many years, and in 2013 she started designing and producing her own clothes. She has a figure every girl would envy, being 1.78cm with perfect measurements, and she looks amazing in absolutely anything she wears. But she’s always looking classy and elegant, most of the time in her own designs, since she creates beautiful tops, skirts, and dresses according to her taste, in many different colors, which you can find through her blog, tagged as My Silk Fairytale collection. Through his personal blog “One Dapper Street” he’s sharing amazing stylish ideas and he’s showing us that men can care about their style, too. All of these months that I’ve been reading his blog, I couldn’t help noticing his preference for woolen jackets, blazers in strict lines and shirts in every pattern.
